The Coordinator of the exhibition, Dr Lim Chee Men said that the exhibition was aimed to promote the artistry of Chinese Calligraphy wood carving and to nurture talents and creativity of ICS students in the Chinese Calligraphy wood carving. Apart from that, Dr. Lim hoped to provide an opportunity for students to learn and enhance their interpersonal skills during the fair apart from learning theories in classes, and to uphold the prestige of UTAR and ICS in the community.

During the exhibition, visitors were given opportunity to learn and experience hands-on wood carving. Most visitors hoped that ICS could arrange workshops for them after the exhibition.

ICS students found this was a very good opportunity for them to enhance their interpersonal skills as they needed to introduce wood carving skills to every visitor to their booth and guide them on wood carving.
