Location to stay in Kampar

Statistic Report - Jan Trimester, Year 2016 (Online Survey)

The objective of this survey is useful to cater the number of bus service needs for our students around Kampar town.

The total of 1130 students was participated in this survey. 46.9% are staying at Westlake Homes and followed by Harvard/Cambridge/Imperial (18.6%).

Students choose the area to stay based on the following top 3 reasons.

39.9% of the respondents would choose to stay nearer to the university; followed by 29.2% of the students would prefer to look for an affordable room rental; 5.4% of the respondents would choose to stay that area because bus service is provided.

43% of the students used bicycle to transport to UTAR. 17% of the respondents are depending on bus service. 14.3% of the students used car transportation and 8.7% of the students are riding motorcycle.

There is approximately 60% of the respondents are taking UTAR bus. They chose to use UTAR bus service for several times a month (32.8%), followed by 23.2% for several times a week. 22.5% of the respondents would take UTAR bus service every day.

In summary, the managment would preserve the priority to students who are staying at Westlake Homes and Harvard/Cambridge/Imperial because almost 65% of the student populations who are staying at that area.

Statistic Report - Oct Trimester, Year 2015 (Online Survey)

The objective of this survey is useful to cater the number of bus service needs for our students around Kampar town.

The total of 1234 students was participated in this survey. 50.6% of the students are staying at Westlake Homes and followed by Harvard/Cambridge/Imperial (18.3%). This indicates that approximately 60% of the students population are staying at that area.

 

38.7% of the students would prefer to stay nearer to the university. Followed by 29.5% of the students who choose the area because the rental is affordable. 8.6% of the students choose to have a basic facilities.

There is only 6.6% of the students preferred the area if there is a bus service provided.

Statistic Report - May Trimester, Year 2014 (Online Survey)

The objective of this survey is useful to cater the number of bus service needs for our students around Kampar town.

The total of students participated in this survey was 1183 students. 56.6% of the students is staying at Westlake Homes. Followed by 19.7% who are staying at Harvard/Cambridge/Imperial. The 3rd highest population was those who are staying at Taman Kampar Perdana 6.8% and the 4th highest population was those who stayed at Pangsapuri Sutera Apartment.
