Your contribution can change lives

UTAR is a not-for-profit private university owned by the UTAR Education Foundation which receives funding from the generous contribution of benefactors, the alumni and individuals. UTAR’s main objective is to provide affordable quality tertiary education to the community. The UTAR Education Foundation enables many financially challenged students to obtain a reputable tertiary education at UTAR and to improve the quality of their lives through enhanced employment opportunities.

UTAR is further extending its reach to the community by setting up a hospital in Kampar that will provide affordable quality medical services in Western Medicine and Complimentary Medicine, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic Medicine. The hospital will be supported by qualified specialists and experienced staff including those from our Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences while our MBBS and TCM students will do their clinical training in the hospital.

We appeal to you to contribute generously for the good cause of the university in higher education and medical care initiative. Your contribution will go to the UTAR Education Foundation to fund the following:

  UTAR General Development Fund
UTAR Hospital Project Fund
