UTAR Scholarships For Top Achievers

The University provides scholarships to applicants with outstanding academic performance to pursue its undergraduate and foundation programmes (exclude the MBBS programme)
The minimum award criteria for the scholarship to pursue UTAR undergraduate programmes are as follows:
- STPM/ A-Levels or equivalent: 4A's, or
- UEC or equivalent: 9A's, or
- Canadian Pre-University: 95% for all subjects with a minimum of 6 subjects, or
- South Australian Matriculation: A's for all subjects with a minimum of 5 subjects, or
- Full Tuition Fee Scholarship
Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman Diploma: CGPA of 3.900 and above, or
UTAR Foundation Programmes: CGPA of 3.900 and above, or - Half Tuition Fee Scholarship
Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman Diploma: CGPA of 3.800 to 3.899, or
UTAR Foundation Programmes: CGPA of 3.800 to 3.899
The minimum criteria for UTAR Foundation Scholarship is SPM 7A's and above.

Student with actual results who meet the minimum award criteria are automatically offered the UTAR Scholarship upon submitting their Admission Application Form to the Department of Admissions and Credit Evaluation (DACE). They must then follow up by signing and returning the scholarship acceptance letter within the stipulated deadline to Division of Examinations, Awards and Scholarships (DEAS).
Students who join with forecast results will need to submit the Application Form for Scholarship at the Division of Examinations, Awards and Scholarships (DEAS) within 2 weeks after their actual results are released.All the terms and conditions will be stated in the scholarship award letter.
